Prevention Advisor

Are you passionate about well-being at work and ready to play a key role in the safety of our employees? At skeyes, we are looking for a level 2 Deputy Occupational Safety Prevention Advisor to join our team.

You will contribute to the application of laws and regulations around well-being and safety, reporting directly to the Head of the Prevention Service.

What does a skeyes level 2 Deputy Occupational Safety Prevention Adviser do?

  • support skeyes' prevention policy in the areas of occupational safety, psychosocial aspects, ergonomics, occupational hygiene, environmental management and health;
  • analyse complex situations, assess risks and formulate well-founded advice, taking into account technical, legal and operational aspects;
  • manage files and projects on safety procedures and infrastructure;
  • coordinate risk analyses, the overall prevention policy and the annual action plan;
  • organise training and sensitise employees on well-being at work;
  • follow up on environmental obligations and cooperate with the external environmental consultant;
  • develop cooperations with internal departments, the Committee for prevention and protection at work and external partners (such as inspection services and the fire brigade);
  • keep abreast of legal developments and translate them into practice.

Candidate profile

What makes you our perfect level 2 Deputy Occupational Safety Prevention Adviser?

  • possess a Bachelor's degree, a level 2 Prevention Advisor diploma is a major asset;
  • you have at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a technical environment;
  • additional assets: a level B Environmental Coordinator and/or Safety Coordinator certificate;
  • you have excellent knowledge of Dutch and French, and good knowledge of English;
  • you have strong digital skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • you are not afraid of administrative work, such as preparing and collating order forms. You have a strong administrative background. In addition, you are a multitasker who works pragmatically;
  • you have strong communication skills and excellent editing skills;
  • you are eager to learn, discrete, and a down-to-earth person with a well-developed psychosocial understanding;
  • you have a proactive attitude, analytical ability and the capacity to provide solutions;
  • you are in possession of a category B driving licence.
