Logistics employee
As our logistics employee, your job is to participate in skeyes’ facility services by transporting materials and correspondence, organising moves and ensuring the smooth running and cleanliness of the vehicle fleet.
What do you do as a logistics employee at skeyes?
You drive a passenger car to transport correspondence or materials to regional airports, to suppliers or within the site. This includes among other things:
- Transporting (internal and urgent external) correspondence and packages;
- Delivering urgent materials to the different sites/buildings of skeyes;
- Delivering and preparing materials for the different sites.
You are responsible for the regular maintenance of the fleet's service vehicles. This includes among other things:
- Regularly checking fuel levels and refueling/charging vehicles as needed;
- Checking oil levels and windshield washer fluids and replenishing them as necessary;
- Ensuring the internal and external cleanliness of the vehicle;
- Ensuring the proper operation of the vehicle, having maintenance performed on the due dates provided by the car manufacturer;
- Ensuring the replacement of tyres and other necessary parts;
- Ensuring the conformity of the vehicle's on-board documents and contacting the competent services if necessary.
You provide general facility support in coordination with the Internal Services Manager, Restaurant Services Manager and Mobility Manager. This includes among other things:
- Handling mail and newspapers distribution between the different buildings;
- Replenishing the coffee and vending machines;
- Escorting external persons, for pest control, fire extinguishers, checking cleaning,…,
You facilitate moving operations. This includes among other things:
- Assembling/removing furniture in offices.
Candidate profile
What makes you the perfect logistics employee?
- Relevant experience in a similar position or sector is a plus.
- You have a valid driving licence (type B).
- You have excellent communication skills and the necessary empathy and initiative to deal with unexpected situations.
- You have a working knowledge of French and/or Dutch.
- You are customer/supplier-oriented, focused on improvement and problem-solving. Your critical eye contributes to continuous improvement.
