Functional Analyst Enterprise Applications
Understanding and analysing user problems and needs, and converting them into concrete specifications for IT applications in order to achieve efficient, customer-oriented IT applications and processes.
What does a skeyes Functional Analyst do?
- You will act as an interface between end users and the technical teams, both internal and external.
- You will identify our customers' needs and convert them into functional and technical requirements.
- You will carefully develop and document the functional logic of an application, as follows:
- Process mapping, design and configuration
- Analyse and model data and document function descriptions, user interface design, system-to-system interaction design,...
- You will monitor implementation and delivery in collaboration with the PM.
- You will test and validate applications and tools.
- You will write manuals for end users and train them in this area.
- You will provide functional assistance to developers.
- You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT services through proposals for improvement defined in collaboration with our users.
- You will be able to understand our users' problems and come up with effective solutions.
- You will be able to challenge our users' requests in order to respond in the best possible way.
Candidate profile
What makes you the perfect Functional Analyst?
- You hold a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree and you have a strong affinity with IT.
- You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in a medium-sized or large organization.
- As our Functional Analyst you have experience in management and configuration of applications and tools in a complex environment with various user groups.
- Ideally, you have experience in project management in an IT-related environment and you take ownership of the projects that are assigned to you.
- You have a problem-solving attitude; you detect the root cause of a problem and find the solution.
- You have experience in providing support to customers.
- You are flexible.
- You have good analytical skills.
- You have a good knowledge of French, Dutch and English.
