The Open Company Day (OCD) will be held on 6 October 2024 from 10am to 5pm and skeyes would like to welcome you to its site in Steenokkerzeel for this event.

Open to all, this day is an unmissable opportunity to discover what goes on behind the scenes of air traffic control. You can choose to have a breathtaking view of Brussels airport from the control tower, or to enter the heart of air traffic control: the CANAC 2 control centre.

Or -and this is a first at Open Company Day- you will be able to time travel and discover the future of air traffic control at the digital tower test centre: the DiTo (Digital Tower) Test Centre.

All operational and technical services (radar, communications, navigation), the meteorological service and our aeronautical information service will be present to reveal the secrets of air traffic control, tell you all about their fascinating profession and, why not, encourage people to pursue a career in aviation! The focus will be on skeyes' innovation projects, such as drones and sustainable aviation.

Please note that access to skeyes is only possible through registration. To do so, visit the Journée Découverte Entreprises (JDE) website (in French) https://www.jde-wallonie.be/skeyes or the Open Bedrijvendag (OBD) website (in Dutch) https://www.openbedrijvendag.be/bedrijven/skeyes/ .

Registrations start on Monday, 2 September at 6pm

As is the case every year, places on the various tours are limited and usually sold out within minutes.  So it's a good idea to know in advance what information you need to register:

You'll need participants' general information (surname, first name, e-mail...) and above all their national number, which you'll find on the back of their identity card.

Please note that you can only choose one of the tours available (Control Tower, CANAC 2 and DiTo Test Centre) and that you can only register a maximum of four people in total (i.e. yourself plus 3 people).

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday 6 October at our site in Steenokkerzeel.
