skeyes' technical services conducted the first test flights at Brussels Airport with a new specialised drone equipped with measurement instruments that skeyes recently acquired.

These test flights take place in order to configure the drone and its instruments for skeyes' technical environment.

Subsequently, high-precision calibration flights will be carried out regularly, especially of the Instrument Landing System (ILS) at Brussels Airport. Until now, a small aircraft has been used for these calibration flights. The aim is to reduce the impact of such flights by using a drone. These tests are conducted safely for other air traffic at the airport.
